ABOUT KALOURA’S KITCHEN

Kaloura’s Kitchen was started by Georgina Kaloura Stevens in 2012. Now run by a husband and wife team, Josh and Georgie are classically and internationally trained, they love to cook food from all round the world but specialise in Thai, Greek and modern British cuisines.

Living in Cornwall they are lucky enough to be surrounded by fresh local produce and world class seafood, bought straight from the boats in Padstow. Georgie has worked for more than 20 years in the catering industry, including Rick Stein's in Padstow. 

Combining her love of cooking and her love of being on the water, she spent six years working on superyachts throughout the Mediterranean. For four of those years, she was the personal chef to an oligarch, having to constantly adapt her cooking style to satisfy the diverse demands of him, his family and his guests.


Through her travels, she picked up many influences especially from Italy, Greece and Croatia. Sailing as a private chef meant constantly changing sources of produce – one day a large Croatian port, the next a fishing village in Italy.  

Josh moved to Cornwall to work at a number of prestigious restaurants including Michelin starred Driftwood and Gidleigh Park. These kitchens instilled in him a methodic and precise work ethic, and further cemented his passion for sustainable produce. This lead to his love of foraging and preserving local ingredients.


Our meats are supplied by Williams and Son in Wadebridge. Our crabs and lobsters are from the day boats in Padstow, and our fish is from Wing of St Mawes or local boats. From Georgie’s love of gardening and Cornwall’s warm climate we use fruit, vegetables and herbs from our allotment garden where supply allows

Georgie has been a private chef for more than 10 years and though Josh has helped over the years, he joined her full time in 2020. They will prepare all meals in your kitchen and at the end of the experience they will leave your kitchen clean and tidy, so you can just sit back and relax.
